Marty: Williamson’s report surprising for western governments (IRS)

The former Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty has stated that the report of prosecutor Clint Williamson presents a surprise for the western governments, which did not expect such results. Marty told the Swiss SRF radio that Williamson’s report on the trade in human organs in 1999 was of tremendous significance.

Service to killed harvesters in Staro Gacko (IRS)

In the village of Staro Gacko, near Lipljan in central Kosovo, the priests of the eparchy of Raska and Prizren have served the memorial service for 14 Serb harvesters who were killed in the field on July 23, 1999. Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric has stated that Serbia will be with its people in Kosovo and insist on finding and punishing the culprits from Staro Gacko.

Williamson’s report on Tuesday, indictments in early 2015 (IRS)

Clint Williamson, the chief prosecutor in the investigation about the trade in human organs of the abducted Serbs in Kosmet, will publish on Tuesday his report on the case in Brussels, and the indictments will be raised only after the forming of the special court, which is expected at the beginning of the next year, the TANJUG agency learns from the diplomatic sources in Brussels.

Protest in Zubin Potok: Serbs may leave Kosovo institutions (International Radio Serbia)

 The political representatives of Kosovo Serbs have stated at the protest rally in Zubin Potok, northern Kosovo, that they are pondering collective resignation from the Kosovo institutions if the arrests of the Serbs in the Province are continued. They have called upon the international community and EULEX to immediately and unconditionally enable all the unjustly indicted Serbs to be released pending trial, otherwise they will be forced to consider the possibility of terminating the cooperation with EULEX.

Dačić: UN is Serbia’s chief trump card (IRS)

Serbian First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić said that the UN was Serbia’s chief trump card in the process of finding a solution to the Kosmet issue. He told Belgrade TV B92 that Kosovo could be admitted to international organizations in which Serbia cannot prevent such admission, but that it cannot become an UN member-state without the consent of countries supporting Belgrade’s position.

Eparchy condemned desecration of Christ the Savior in Pristina (IRS)

The eparchy of Raska and Prizren and Kosmet has condemned the latest desecration of the unfinished cathedral of Christ the Savior in Pristina. The eparchy states that singer Era Istrefi from Kosovo has made the video clip for one of her songs, in which she is dancing half naked in that Orthodox temple in Pristina.
