Serb home set on fire in Kosovo village (KIM radio, TV Most, Tanjug)

A house for returnees, which was under construction in the village of Tomance, Kosovo's Istok/Istog municipality, was set on fire last night, reports the Kosovo Ministry for Returns and Communities.

The house is being built for a Serb returnee and his family as part of an EU-funded project of the ministry.

Jevtic and the Serbian List condemn the attack on Serbian journalist (RTK2)

Minister for Communities and Returnm, Dalibor Jevtic, and representatives of the Serbian list condemned the attack on the TV Most crew. Jevtic said that many incidents went unpunished and that this means that somebody has to urgently answer on this and all other unsolved attacks. “I am disappointed by the fact something like this happened in Kosovo. Again the journalists are targets of those who are not ready to accept the fact that Serbs should live and work freely in Kosovo.

Livestock stolen from a Serb in village Banje (KIM Radio)

A livestock was stolen last night from a Kosovo Serb Ljubisa Kovacevic in village Banje in Srbica/Skenderaj, communicated Ministry for Communities and Return. Kosovo police informed that investigation is ongoing.

Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic condemned the incident said that this incident causes unrest among the Serbs and called authorized bodies to find perpetrators and invest bigger efforts in protection of their property.

Jevtic: Mutual trust is the most important for the normalization of relations (KIM radio)

Ministry cannot solve property problems (KIM Radio)

Kosovo Ministry for Communities and Return each day receives complaints related to property rights of the displaced persons. However, Ministry is not able to solve these problems, because it is not in its mandate, said Minister Dalibor Jevtic to the representatives of the delegation of the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM). At a meeting with representatives of BPRM, Minister for Return stressed that it is very important that the law on property rights is well defined.
