Kosovo’s security institutions have received information that people close to Lavdrim Muhaxheri, the leader of Albanians fighting for ISIS, have ordered their people in Kosovo and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to carry out terror attacks in Pristina and Skopje. The news site claims to possess the communication between top security officials in Kosovo ordering the Kosovo Police to undertake all necessary measures to respond to such threats.

The Islamic State has published a propaganda video that threatens Balkan countries and calls on Muslims to either join it, or launch attacks in the Balkans.

The video, titled "Honor is in jihad, a message to the Balkans", has been published by the Alhayat Media Center - a propaganda center established to reach audiences in the West with Islamic messages.

Kosovo is part of the Global Coalition to Counter the Islamic State (ISIL). The United States Special Presidential Envoy, General John Allen will visit Kosovo on Thursday for a one-day visit, where he will meet with leaders of the Kosovo institutions to talk about the progress of the Coalition and other regional issues, announced the US State Department.

PRISTINA (Reuters) - A prosecutor in Kosovo indicted 32 people on Thursday for fighting alongside Islamist insurgents in Syria and Iraq and recruiting others from the impoverished Balkan country to fight.

Security officials say more than 200 people from Kosovo have gone to fight in Syria and Iraq, stirring fears of the threat they might pose when they come home. More than 30 are believed to have been killed.
