Outgoing Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj stated that if Serbia denies Kosovo recognition, there is no sense in discussing things with them, reports B92 portal quoting Kosovo based media.

Leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj justified his decision to impose 100% tariffs to Serbian goods, presenting what coalition AAK-PDK has to offer now, reports Zvecan based Kosovo online portal.

Head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) parliamentary group, Ahmet Isufi, said today that the text of the consensus agreement between a number of parliamentary parties on border demarcation should be left unchanged. "The order and the items have been changed. Symbolism matters sometimes and the text therefore needs to remain as it was," Isufi said.

Ahmet Isufi, head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) parliamentary group, said that his party’s efforts were focused on correcting the 2015 border demarcation agreement with Montenegro and that the current draft law sent to the MPs addresses these concerns. He said the agreement should be voted as soon as possible and pave way for visa liberalisation.

The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, said in a press conference that the decision of the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) for a revote in the municipality of Istog is not what the party requested when it appealed against the mayoral results that showed the candidate of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) winning 19 November runoff election.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) candidate for mayor of Istog, Gani Dreshaj, said he plans to appeal against the decision of the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) for a revote in the municipality. Dreshaj, whom the runoff election results showed as winner, said he strongly believes the Supreme Court will overturn ECAP ruling and decide in his favour.

According to the government political parties, filing a motion to bring down Haradinaj’s government, would not succeed. MPs from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), told Radio Kosova that such initiatives are not serious at all.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) MP, Rasim Selmanaj, said it is not a good thing for the chairman to rush into calling the Assembly’s constitutive session without prior agreement between parliamentary groups. Asked whether AAK MPs would attend the next session, Selmanaj said the party is yet to take a stance on the matter.

Selmanaj’s comments comes after the decision of the Kosovo Assembly constitutive session’ chairman, Adem Mikullovci, to schedule its continuation on Thursday.

LAA coalition appears to be determined not to vote the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Kadri Veseli for the President of the Assembly of Kosovo, and neither the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, for the position of the Prime Minister of Kosovo. This was reiterated today by LAA MP, Ilir Deda.

Deputy leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Pal Lekaj, said he regretted the fact some parties chose not to attend the meeting called by President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci. “We are sorry other political parties are not demonstrating spirit of cooperation and building of institutions”, Lekaj said adding that his party was ready for the Assembly’s constitutive session.

Member of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) leadership, Rasim Selmanaj, said after the meeting of the party’s highest body that the PAN coalition has sufficient votes to form the new government of Kosovo. Selmanaj said everything will be clarified next week and that Serbian List and other communities will be part of the new government.
