Bjelić: Trepca is privately owned company (RTK2)

Former Director of Trepca Complex Novak Bjelic said that Belgrade must not accept talks about Trepca with Pristina authorities, because, as he said, “it is a done deal”. "Trepca is a stock company, not a property of the state," said Bjelić adding that if the UNSC Resolution 1244 continues to be respected, Trepca cannot belong to Kosovo. 

NATO Secretary General visits Kosovo (KosovaPress)

The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Jens Stoltenberg, today visited KFOR Headquarters in Pristina. Stoltenberg thanked NATO troops who worked hard to ensure stability and safety in Kosovo.  Asked about the future of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Stoltenberg said that KFOR will assist in the development of the KSF, and this is an internal issue of Kosovo.  In regards to terrorism, Stoltenberg said that this is a general issue and that they are committed to fighting this phenomenon.

Association of Djakovica citizens: We would like to visit our churches (IRS)

The Association of Djakovica citizens has asked the US Ambassador in Pristina Tracy Jacobson, representatives of KFOR, UNMIK and EULEX, and non-governmental organizations to enable them to visit Serbian churches in this town in southwestern Kosovo. A bus carrying 40 displaced Serbs from that town was stoned in front of the Church of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin in Djakovica on Christmas Eve.

Ferguson: KFOR with excellent results in 2014 (RTKLive)

The United States Navy Admiral Mark E. Ferguson III, today visited KFOR Headquarters in Pristina, and said that KFOR achieved excellent results over the past year, thanks to the professionalism and dedication of KFOR soldiers. RTKLive writes that Admiral Ferguson met with Quint ambassadors and with head of United Nations Interim Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and they highlighted the importance of mutual cooperation to increase stability and security in the region.

Army chief, KFOR commander discuss security (B92, Blic, Politika)

Serbian army chief Ljubisa Dikovic KFOR commander Francesco Paolo Figliuolo met and discussed the security situation in Kosovo and on the administrative line.

Dikovic and Figliuolo also discussed the cooperation between the Serbian Army and KFOR so far and the directions of their future cooperation, the Serbian Ministry of Defense said.

This is the first official meeting between the two general since Figliuolo assumed office as the KFOR commander in Kosovo in September 2014.

KFOR reconfirms support for Kosovo Police and EULEX (Koha)

KFOR Commander,Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, underlined the fact that KFOR will continue cooperating and assisting the United Nations, the European Union, and other international actors and continues to support, as third responder, Kosovo Police and EULEX in their activities. COMKFOR made the comments at NATO KFOR Headquarters in Pristina in a meeting with the Commander of the Austrian Joint Forces Command, Lieutenant General Franz Reiszner.

Djuric, Janjic thank KFOR for protecting Decani monastery (Tanjug)

DECANI - Director of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric and Visoki Decani Monastery abbot Sava Janjic Monday expressed gratitude to the KFOR commander, Italian Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo for sending soldiers to increase the security around the monastery after its facilities and gates had been sprayed with threatening graffiti celebrating the Islamic State and calling for the creation of a Worldwide Caliphate.

Successful cooperation between KFOR and EULEX (KiM radio)

KFOR commander, Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, and the new head of EULEX, Gabriele Meucci, talked in Pristina about the security situation in Kosovo and the recent events that have affected the security situation in the region, announced the KFOR.

"KFOR, as the third line of response, is providing a safe and calm environment in Kosovo, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244. KFOR has a strong and successful working relationship with EULEX, which is the second line of response," the statement said.
