Pope Francis "to visit Belgrade and Pristina" – report (B92)

Pope Francis "should visit Belgrade and Pristina within the next year," the Belgrade-based Danas daily reported on Wednesday.

The paper was quoting "unofficial Western diplomatic sources" when reporting this, Tanjug said.

According to the report, the sources said Pope Francis had been invited by Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic to pay a first official visit to Belgrade and was willing to do so, and the Serbian Orthodox Church is not against the invitation either.

More than 54 million euros allocated for Kosovo north (Danas)

Since 2010 to date the European Union has invested more than 54 million euros for 124 projects in the north of Kosovo. So far, the total value of the implemented projects is 8.5 million. Projects valued 37.25 million euros are in realization process, while projects valued 8.74 million have not yet been initiated.  The largest number of the projects is in the municipality of North Mitrovica - 38, followed by the municipality of Leposavić/Leposaviç - 34, Zvečan/Zveçan - 23 and Zubin Potok - 21.

Orlović: 3,000 suspects who committed war crimes in Kosovo, Bosnia and Croatia are living in Serbia (media)

Several media report that Sandra Orlović, executive director of the Human Rights Fund, told the Belgrade-based Danas newspaper, that according to her estimates at least 3,000 people suspected of committing war crimes in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo, are living in Serbia. Orlović said that Serbia has become an oasis of not convicting war crimes given the small number of indictments in the last five years.

Merkel will be asked to change a focus (Danas)

The MPs of the ruling German party - the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and their coalition partner, the Christian Social Union (CSU) will ask the German Chancellor Angela Merkel to "return the Balkans to the focus of German policy" and to treat it as a "region of special importance." "The impression is that the Balkans is quiet, but it is not. It is just a bit away from the focus of German foreign policy, since Germany is currently focused on the problems in the Middle East, Syria, Ukraine and further solving the refugee crisis.

First white Schengen, and then new round of talks (Danas)

A new meeting between Belgrade and Pristina that should be held at the highest political level in the headquarters of the European Union could happen in the autumn, claim unofficial diplomatic sources from the Brussels.  According to them, as first, the Brussels will officially approve visa liberalization to the Kosovo, and afterwards will be organized new round of talks.
