A Serb attacked in Rahovec/Orahovac (KIM radio)

Seventy two year old Stevan Radić was attacked yesterday in his vineyard in Rahovec/Orahovac. The case was reported to the Kosovo Police.

Radić was attacked after he sent away two Albanian boys from his farm, who had previously stolen nuts.

After that, an unknown person approached him from behind and dealt a blow to the head.

The case was reported to police at the urging of family.

First indictments prepared for war crimes of the KLA (KoSSev, TV Most, KIM radio, Politika)

The first indictments for war crimes of the KLA likely to be raised by year-end, writes daily Politika.

According to unofficial information of the Fund for Humanitarian Law, Politika writes, so far have been prepared indictments against eight persons.

The dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina at the expert level will continue on Wednesday, 7 September in Brussels, announced today the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

As stated, from 7 to 9 September, Belgrade and Pristina delegations will discuss the implementation of the agreement on the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities, cadastre, and recognition of diplomas, freedom of movement and the delimitation of the northern and southern Mitrovica.

Đurić's message to Pristina - Do not hide behind the Serbian List (KIM radio)

In Gračanica, last night, has opened Radio-TV Centre "Gračanica" which will operate within the framework of the Public Enterprise "Mreža Most".

The RTV Centre "Gračanica" in Gračanica was established in cooperation with the Public Enterprise "Mreža Most" and the support of Slobodan Ristić, who has lived and worked in Norway, and who personally contributed to the opening of this centre, which is funded from the state budget of Serbia.

Staro Gracko: Memorial plaque to Serb victims desecrated (RTK2, KIM radio, B92)

Unknown persons overnight desecrated and damaged a memorial plaque dedicated to Serb victims from the village of Staro Gracko in Kosovo.

The names of 14 Serb farmers gunned down while harvesting their fields in July 1999 were inscribed on the plaque, as well as those of the victims of NATO's aggression that took place earlier the same year.

The memorial was placed at the elementary school in the centre of the village.

EULEX withdrew from prosecuting lawyers Dejan Vasić and Faruk Korenica (KIM radio)

Lawyers Vasić and Korenica were accused to have influenced the witnesses, and hampered the evidence as the defenders of Zarko Veselinovic, who has been charged with attempted aggravated murder of two members of the special unit "ROSU".

The prosecutor has dropped the case after a testimony of five witnesses before the judge.

Štrpce/Shtërpcë : Explosive found in a school (KIM radio)

Members of the regional police units from Uroševac/Ferizaj conducted a search of the Economic and Trade School in Štrpce/Shtërpcë and on this occasion found a larger amount of explosives, reports TV Herc.

The search was conducted due to an info which Kosovo police had, said Kosovo police spokesman for the region of Ferizaj/Uroševac Agim Gashi.
