Jevtic with representatives of the OSCE on the return (KiM radio)

On the eve of the upcoming regional conference on the return of displaced persons, which should be held in mid-November in Skopje, Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic, met with representatives of the OSCE and discussed the joint steps. "I expect that this, like the previous conference on the return of displaced, will be successful. Lately, I received the positive signals from the important international actors, as well as governments of certain countries and organizations that are involved in the return process," said Jevtic.

Successful cooperation between KFOR and EULEX (KiM radio)

KFOR commander, Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, and the new head of EULEX, Gabriele Meucci, talked in Pristina about the security situation in Kosovo and the recent events that have affected the security situation in the region, announced the KFOR.

"KFOR, as the third line of response, is providing a safe and calm environment in Kosovo, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244. KFOR has a strong and successful working relationship with EULEX, which is the second line of response," the statement said.

Rasic: Two options for overcoming crisis (KIM radio)

Outgoing Minister for Labor and Social Welfare and leader of the Progressive Democratic Party, Nenad Rasic, said that agreement is not possible amongst the leaders of Kosovo Albanian political parties  because of their standpoints.

“I think that only solution is a concrete proposal which would come from the President about how government should look like, and other solution is to go to new elections. Thus we have two options, if the first one doesn’t yield results, we’ll go to new elections,” said Rasic.

Second anniversary of the first meeting between Dacic and Thaci (KIM radio)

Two years ago on 19 October prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo, Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci, met for the first time in Brussels and started the political dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

The Agreement signed in April 2013 has relaxed relations between Belgrade and Pristina and enabled freedom of movement across the administrative crossings, but integration of judiciary and police from the north into Kosovo institutions too, which were formed after the unilateral declaration of independence.
