Trump campaign denies apology, Nedeljnik makes a statement (B92, Danas)

Donald Trump’s campaign claims that the GOP nominee never apologized to the Serbs for the 1999 NATO bombing, and accuses Nedeljnik of fabricating the interview.

Magazine Nedeljnik from Belgrade said they’ll investigate these claims, but they leave the possibility of being duped, and also the possibility of Trump campaign deciding to distance themselves from the spoken words.

Vučić: We are nullifying Priština’s decisions (B92)

The Serbian Government has decided to nullify “all and any legal effects of all and any acts or actions” of institutions in Priština regarding Trepča.

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić said that this means that the Government largely accepted the proposals of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija with the aim of “keeping Trepča in operation.”

Đurić: Albanians unified, and we mediate over Trepča (B92, TV Prva)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić said that in Serbia we have “political mediation” involved in a sensitive subject such as Trepča.

Đurić said so answering a question on what did the officials from Belgrade sign in Brussels on Trepča in the TV show “150 minutes” on TV Prva.

“We have a problem here. While the Albanians are unified in their striving to secede, and take our property, in Serbia we face some kind of political mediation on that issue”, said Đurić.

Albanians encouraged by "somebody" to talk about referendum (B92)

Hashim Thaci's intent to organize a referendum on the unification of the self-proclaimed state of Kosovo with Albania has the goal of pressuring Serbia.

This is what former head of Serbia's Military-Security Agency (VBA) Momir Stojanovic has told Russia's Sputnik broadcaster.

According to him, this announcement "coming from the president of the so-called state of Kosovo" is the consequence of the recently held RS Day referendum.

"Kosovo should have referendum on unification with Albania" (B92)

A member of the Kosovo Assembly from the ruling PDK party has spoken in favor of organizing a referendum on Kosovo's "unification with Albania."

According to Nait Hasani, Kosovo should "use the constitutional right to pass a law and organize the referendum."

Hasani said that he asked his party to do this "a long time ago" and that the law would give citizens "the right to decide about their unification with Albania," the Kossev website has reported.

Kosovo police official arrested on terrorism charges (media)

The Serbian police have arrested the director of the Kosovo police for the region of Kosovska Mitrovica, Nehat Thaci.

The Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) confirmed this on Thursday morning.

Thaci was arrested on Wednesday, at around 20:00 CET, at the administrative crossing of Konculj (between Kosovo and central Serbia), on an arrest warrant issued in 2010 for the crime of terrorism, the MUP added.

Cooperation with Albania on infrastructure projects (B92)

Kosovo police attempt to "arrest and deport" Marko Djuric (media)

Marko Djuric has said that "a crude and unlawfully attempt to arrest and deport him from Kosovo" took place in Gracanica last night.

The Kosovo police in this Serb enclave late on Wednesday stopped and held a car in which the director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo was traveling, demanding that he leaves Kosovo.

However, Djuric was later told that he would be able to continue his visit "according to the protocol," Tanjug's reporter in Gracanica said.
