Serbs throw stones at Albanians workers in Kroi i Vitakut (Koha)

Around 30 Serbs have started throwing stones at the Albanian workers who early this morning started rebuilding their houses in Kroi i Vitakut, in the northern part of Mitrovica. Following the incident, which is the second one this week, the Albanian workers stopped the construction. No injuries have been reported. Albanian workers later resumed their construction work, after Kosovo Police and KFOR troops arrived at the site.

Situation in the north tense, Serbs impede building of Albanian houses (Telegrafi)

Rebuilding of the Albanian houses at Kroi i Vitakut neighborhood in Mitrivica, was impeded today by dozens of Serb people.

Kosova Press has learned that this group of Serb individuals has attacked at around 09:30 an excavator of “Euro Ndertimi” company, which was used to build six Albanian houses at this neighborhood.

Former Serbian police officers announced protest tomorrow in Mitrovica (KoSSev)

At least 500 former Serbian police officers and administrative staff from all former Serbian police department in northern and southern Kosovo will stage a protest tomorrow at 11:00 in North Mitrovica in front of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Meotohija, which is only the initial one since they announced another one in a week time, which could be radicalized by blockades of administrative crossings in the north if their requests are not met.

Court trial of Ivanovic and four other Serbs to continue today (KoSSev)

Court trial of Oliver Ivanovic, Dragoljub Delibasic, Ilija and Nebojsa Vujacic and Aleksandar Lazovic will continue today in North Mitrovica. Ivanovic and others are charged for serious crimes committed against Albanian civilians in Kosovska Mitrovica in 1999 and 2000. Oliver Ivanovic is leader of the Civic Initiative SDP Oliver Ivanovic. Trial will continue with the testimonies of the prosecution witnesses.

Bozovic: Bank accounts of northern municipalities blocked (RTK2)

Bank accounts of four municipalities in northern Kosovo are blocked as of yesterday without any justification, said president of the local assembly of North Mitrovica Ksenija Bozovic to RTK2, and added that it is about a pressure which benefits no one. Bozovic stressed that budgets of all four municipalities have been adopted as stipulated by laws and the Brussels Agreement and that there is no basis for the blockade.

Voluntarism a condition for deployment of judges in Kosovo (RTK2)

The principle of willingness should be the main condition for deployment of judges in Kosovo, however the question remains how many judges from Serbia would agree to be integrated into the Kosovo judicial system. The president of the High Judicial Council of Serbia Dragomir Milojevic today said that judges cant’ be deployed into Kosovo courts against their own will and that the first criteria should be their good will, that they wish to be integrated into the Kosovo judiciary, whereas the final deal in relation to a relevant procedure has not been reached yet.
