The Chairman of the opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS), Vuk Jeremic, announced he will officially visit the US next week to “remove the danger” of Washington preventing the change of authorities in Serbia, TV N1 reports. Jeremic warned that Kosovo might get a seat in the UN by the end of this year. He also assessed the visit to Washington will not be easy, since “the US counts on Vucic” which can be concluded based on the two letters the US President Donald Trump sent to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

The current situation in the European Union does not allow enlargement under the satisfactory condition, Nathalie Loiseau, French Minister for European Affairs said ahead of her visit to Belgrade, the Beta news agency reported on Monday.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that there was no agreement on changing the borders with Kosovo, BETA news agency reported. "What can I say about that... There is nothing at all there... It must have been written by Thaci and Haradinaj. There are no points, let alone 17," Vucic told reporters in Trstenik, central Serbia, where he was touring as part of the Future of Serbia campaign. Vucic thus denied a report by the German Frankfurter Rundschau daily on a deal that is supposed to be signed in Washington on June 12 and come into force six months later.

Albanians want to include as many Serbs from Kosovo Pomoravlje as possible into the Kosovo army, President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday. And he urged the Serbs not to do that. Vucic made his comments after a meeting in the Raska Disctrict with officials of the Serb List, a political organization in Kosovo that gathers Serbs. He said that he told them Serbia and the Serbs cannot survive if they go against each other and asked them not to join or participate in the Albanian army in Kosovo and Metohija (KiM).

Membership of Kosovo in Interpol would jeopardize that professional police organization, Serbian Internal Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said, BETA news agency reported. Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic termed the call by Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli to create an alliance against Serbia as “senseless”, adding such idea can not be accepted in Montenegro, BETA news agency reported. Commenting on Veseli’s call that North Macedonia and Montenegro as members of NATO and Kosovo “should gather against Serbia,” Markovic said that something like that cannot be accepted in Montenegro. “Montenegro was never in alliance against anyone, therefore also not against Serbia.
