Rama: The “Peace Road” connects Serbia, Kosovo and Albania (Gazeta Express)

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, stressed during a press conference on Monday morning that an extraordinary political progress is registered in the region, from the Berlin Conference to the Vienna one. “What is worth stressing is that we have entered a phase which serves to increase the focus on advancement of the economic and financial support for the region,” said Rama. He further informed that the parties involved in the process initiated by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, agree to finance and invest on regional infrastructure.

Djuric: Time for real reconciliation between Serbs and Albanians (RTS)

Nikolic’s cabinet quiet about Brussels agreements (Danas)

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic didn’t say a word yesterday about the signing of the agreements between Serbia and Kosovo. Belgrade-based paper Danas didn’t manage to receive any answer from Nikolic’s cabinet on question what would be the destiny and significance of  Nikolic’s platform on Kosovo following the signing of agreements in Brussels between Serbia and Kosovo.

Special meeting on Nis-Pristina-Durres highway (Tanjug)

A meeting on the construction of Nis-Pristina-Durres highway was held Thursday ahead of the Western Balkans Summit in Vienna.

The meeting was attended by Serbian and Albanian Prime Ministers, Aleksandar Vucic and Edi Rama respectively, Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz, President of the European Investment Bank Werner Hoyer and President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti.

A/CSM and chapters as of 18 December (Vecernje Novosti)

Agreement on principles of the creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM) in Kosovo and Metohija, which has been signed on Tuesday in Brussels, along with agreements on energy, telecommunication and bridge over the Ibar/Ibër River by Serbian and Kosovo prime ministers, Aleksandar Vucic and Isa Mustafa, will enable establishment of the A/CSM in next four months.

Improvement of the quality of life of Serbs (TV Most)

The Mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë Vladeta Kostić said that signing of the agreements between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels will contribute to better organization and improve quality of life of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

He voiced expectation that the agreements will first of all guarantee safety to Serbs in Kosovo and better quality of life through institutional support of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities.

Kurz: Agreements eliminate all obstacles (Dailies)

Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz stated that the Belgrade-Pristina agreement eliminated all obstacles and that there was nothing left in the way of opening of the first chapters in the EU accession talks for Serbia.

In an interview for Tanjug, Kurz said that the agreements bear key importance.

These were necessary for EU accession and they bring stability to the entire region of the Western Balkans, Kurz said.

Establishment of the A/CSM expected in two to three months (TV Most)

The coordinator of the Steering Team for establishment of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM) Ljubomir Marić stated last night that reached agreement on A/CSM is the best news that Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija could receive, and added that he expects that everything will be ready for a constitutive session of the A/CSM in next two to three months.
