Haradinaj: My vote to the current version of demarcation is no (media)
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said on Tuesday to Kosovo legislators that the issue of the demarcation of the border with Montenegro might be delayed. He reiterated that the border between Kosovo and Montenegro is at Cakor and Kulla. According to Haradinaj, liberalization of visas is a matter which relates to the matter of reforms on law and order, approach to corruption, as well as 22 actions on administrative issues deriving from the SAA reforming agenda.
Vetevendosje MP, Dardan Moliqaj asked PM Haradinaj if visa liberlisation was possible to happen within three months, and if he would be able to apologize if this does not happen.
Haradinaj said that they are in the process of all preparations related to visa liberalization.
“The border is at Cakorr and Kulla, it is and it will remain there. It is a known issue to Kosovo. A new commission is required to complete the procedures it is engaged for and prove it,” Haradinaj said.
“This matter might stumble but it is in the process, it is still possible that the response on visa liberalization could come within this timeframe,” Haradinaj said.
“We are doing what is under our competence, we have changed one commission, the other one has started working and it is free, it has the support of the cabinet and coalition partners to find the truth. We expect the truth, we cannot prejudice now, we expect the findings and we will discuss them together. You know what my personal vote for the current version is, it is no and it remains no,” Haradinaj said.
