“Why didn’t they leave Haradinaj’s government?” (Danas)

I think the resignations should have been submitted at all levels, and not only that mayors of the northern municipalities do so. I think it makes no sense to call for the national unity and remain in Kosovo government and institutions, deputy leader of the Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) Ksenija Bozovic said, Danas daily reports. Bozovic, who is also Mitrovica North municipal councilor, did not take part in an extraordinary session of this municipality, when a decision on resigning and cutting of the communication with Pristina’s institutions was made, since according to her, she had much more important things to do, try to get arrested Oliver Ivanovic’s secretary Silvana Arsovic free. Bozovic told Danas daily, she thinks partial resignations send a bad message, and that everybody at all places should have resigned. Asked to elaborate on her stance, she said that introduction of taxes by Kosovo authorities and the arrest of Oliver’s secretary are reasons for that. Bozovic added the arrest of Silvana Arsovic serves for intimidation. Asked to comment on the reaction of Belgrade authorities on the increased taxes and arrest of Serbs, Bozovic said that Serbs in Kosovo, have no other government, but the one in Belgrade, and no other president than Aleksandar Vucic. “We have to believe that everything they do is in our best interests,” Bozovic told Danas daily.
