Minister Nenad Popovic: Putin will bring a message that will encourage Serbs in KiM (Tanjug)
Russian President Vladimir Putin will certainly bring a message that will encourage all Serbs in Kosovo, Minister of Innovation and Technological Development Nenad Popovic told state news agency Tanjug.
He says Putin will certainly say that Kosovo, for Russia is an inseparable part of Serbia and will continue to support UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
"I am sure that very important political issues will be opened on how to continue the dialogue, because Serbia is in favour of dialogue. Russia has already expressed its readiness several times, if a dialogue format changes, and it must come to that after the failure of the Brussels agreement, to participate in negotiations, if Serbia officially invites them," Popovic told Tanjug.
He recalls that this format, which could bring results in negotiations, would include the US, Russia and China, as well as the European Union.
He adds that the visit of President Putin to Belgrade comes at an important moment for Serbia, when Albanians from Kosovo have completely interrupted the dialogue and did not fulfil anything from the Brussels Agreement, reports the agency.
