Brnabic reacts to Popovic’s statement on Brussels Agreement (TV N1)

When Minister without portfolio Nenad Popovic said “the Brussels Agreement is dead” and there is “no integration into the EU for Serbia anymore,” he was not expressing the view of the Serbian Government, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Saturday, TV N1 reported.

“Every minister in the government is obliged to implement the agreed-upon policy, those not able to do so are free to leave,” Brnabic added.

Minister Nenad Popovic responded to yesterday's statement by Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, stating that the idea of a "delineation of Kosovo" cannot be an official policy because it is contrary to the Constitution.

"I'm glad that Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, in just 24 hours, changed his mind on the idea of 'delineation', and he no longer claims that such an idea is an official state policy, but says it is a proposal of some state officials,'' Popovic says in a statement delivered to Tanjug.

Statement of the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama that Albania and Kosovo would have a common foreign policy and a president is directed against the peace in the region and represents a hostile act against Serbia and its people, Minister without portfolio in the Serbian Government Nenad Popovic told RTS.

Popovic further said because of this statement Edi Rama should be declared “persona non grata” in Serbia and the country should send a harsh demarche to the Albanian ambassador in Belgrade.
