Lawyer Jokanovic: Serbian investigation points out to complete innocence of Radoicic (RTV KIM, KoSSev)

“What has been done so far in Serbia, points out to complete innocence of Milan Radoicic and there was no his involvement in that,” long-term Pristina lawyer Zivojin Jokanovic, told RTV KIM show “Dogovor,” in relation to the murder of Oliver Ivanovic. Jokanovic earlier announced he is “a future defense lawyer” of Radoicic “in case he is brought before the justice,” KoSSev portal reports. Jokanovic said “that the investigation has done a lot in Serbia.” Responding to moderator’s remark “how come we know almost nothing about it,” he said, “and to know what?” “He (Radoicic) was investigated, his movements, acts,” the lawyer added. Jokanovic also dismissed possible involvement of either Radoicic or the state of Serbia in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, adding Serbia had no reason “to remove him.” “If it was about a political influence, it was minor (…), he was influential in Mitrovica, but at the level of Serbia he was not, he was no threat to any political party,” Jokanovic noted. He added, “Oliver did not enter the world of criminal activities, while many officials are mentioned in that context, concluding “that neither criminal nor political groups” had reasons to order Ivanovic’s assassination. Jokanovic said that Ivanovic and Radoicic had “neither conflicts nor friendship,” noting that Radoicic has some role “in local authorities” something he had right to do. Jokanovic was a guest speaker in the show “Dogovor” mainly to talk about Self-determination Movement initiative to introduce “trial in absentia” in the Kosovo Criminal Code, while the information that he has been hired as Radoicic’s defense lawyer, Jokanovic revealed after the moderator asked him if there is a possibility that Serbia extradites Radocic to Kosovo, KoSSev portal reported.
