SLS reaction to the Sputnik's article: Inaccurate and malicious information (KIM radio, KoSSev, RTK2)
The Independent Liberal Party (SLS) reacted today to the Sputnik's text "Secret Recipe for the Kosovo Army", that media in Belgrade and in Kosovo quoted.
According to the SLS announcement, "some media, after the elections, continue to publish false and malicious information about some Serb politicians who are not part of the Serbian List."
SLS recalls that Sputnik, referring to a "well-informed source," said that the Albanian parties secured three of the four minority votes to vote on the Law of the Kosovo Army and that for now they have two safe voices - one from the Bosniak community, and the other from the Serbian community, with the note that this was not the Serbian list.
"Given that Slobodan Petrović is the only Serb deputy in the Kosovo Assembly who is not from the Serb List, it is not difficult to conclude against whom is directed this inaccurate and malicious text," the SLS said.
The SLS recalls that the vote on the Kosovo Army Law or any constitutional change requires a two-thirds majority of members of minority communities, which is 14 in this case and not four.
"So, for this law, primarily is necessary participation of the deputies of the Serbian List."
