“Dogovor” show: What EULEX and embassies are doing to find killers of Oliver Ivanovic? (RTV KIM)
Ksenija Bozovic, close associate of murdered Oliver Ivanovic, speaking in “Dogovor” show urged EUELX and representatives of embassies in Kosovo to tell what are they doing to find killers of Oliver Ivanovic, and Hashim Thaci to say “who will be hurt with the truth (about assassinated Serb politician),” KIM Radio reports today.
Bozovic, who is also deputy leader of the Civic Initiative, Freedom, Democracy, Justice (SDP) said the members of Ivanovic family and SDP, one month and a half after the murder, do not have any official information about the course of the investigation. She also added, she phones police and investigative bodies, as well as EULEX every day to find out what is going on with the case.
Bozovic said that after 15 days EUELX responded saying “they are carefully monitoring the work of Kosovo judicial and security structures,” KIM Radio reported.
“EUELX was very efficient when it had to arrest Oliver Ivanovic and take him to detention. What are they doing now in terms of finding out who are the killers of Oliver Ivanovic? That is the question for them. What they did so far, what they will do further, let them tell us that,” Bozovic said.
Reacting on Kosovo President Hashim Thaci statement “that someone would be hurt with the truth about the murder of Oliver Ivanovic” Bozovic said: “Let Mr. Thaci come out, and after 40 days finally tell what he has to tell, and whether someone will like it or not, it does not matter to us. It is important to come out and tell how far the investigation has reached.”
She also criticized representatives of the international community in Kosovo, in particular USA and German embassies, as according to her, they called neither SDP nor Ivanovic’s family to express condolences,” KIM Radio reported.
Dragisa Milovic, who was running in last Kosovo local elections together with Ivanovic, said that the investigation has not start well since its beginning.
He termed lack of progress in the investigation as defeating for the investigation, judiciary, prosecution, police and all of us.
Milovic added that citizens in the north do not trust police as not a single case there was resolved till now. He reminded that his vehicle and vehicle of Oliver Ivanovic were burned down six months ago, and there is still no progress in that investigation either.
Milovic also said if representatives of the security bodies reacted on all the warnings about deteriorated security situation during the election campaign, he and Oliver Ivanovic were pointing out, the murder would certainly not happen.
Bozovic confirmed that Oliver Ivanovic warned representatives of the Security-Informative Agency (BIA) in Serbia, but also representatives of the international community and authorities in Pristina, about his endangered security, KIM Radio reported.
She also confirmed claims of Oliver Ivanovic’s brother Miroslav, who said that Oliver Ivanovic was not in conflict with Milan Radojcic.
Bozovic added that she has no contact with representatives of the Srpska Lista, saying that “no one from Srpska Lista expressed condolence neither to Ivanovic family nor to his political party members.”
SDP sent an official proposal to the municipal authorities in Mitrovica North to name the main square in the city, or Sutjestka Street where Ivanovic was murdered after him.
At the end, both Bozovic and Milovic said that killers of Ivanovic must be found.
“I won’t stop with pressure on all institutions, on Belgrade, Pristina and international community to find the killer. They may be assured that we will permanently exercise pressure on them to find the killer and fulfil the promise they gave,” Bozovic said.
Milovic said he expects responsible persons would be found and prosecuted. He also reminded there are few more unresolved murders of citizens in the north, KIM Radio reported.
