Vulin and Djuric respond to the Haradinaj' statement on Kosovo agreeing reconciliation in return for recognition (RTS)
On Ramush Haradinaj's statement that "Kosovo will agree to reconciliation with Serbia in return for recognition of independence," Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin asked him: "Did you come up with it yourself, or did someone help you?", reported Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).
The head of the government office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, said on the same occasion that there was no justification for separatism, violence and violation of international law, reported RTS.
"If the criterion for the status of Kosovo and Metohija were victims, Serbian victims are not fewer or less valuable than Albanian, as evidenced by internationally verified numbers of exiled and killed Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. The masters of the Pristina war and the leaders of the terrorist KLA are the last ones to have the right to speak about it, "Marko Djuric told Tanjug, RTS reported.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has previously stated that Pristina, in return for recognition of independence, has nothing to offer except reconciliation, but that "does not mean that the crimes committed will be forgotten," reported Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).
