Jevtic: We do not give up on the return of Serbs to Kosovo (RTS)

A joint session of the Government and representatives of Serbs is being held today in Belgrade, where a comprehensive package of assistance and support to municipalities with a Serb majority in Kosovo will be approved, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS). President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will meet with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo in the Palace "Serbia".

In addition to the adoption of the investment plan, measures of incentives will be harmonized for those would invest in the territory of Kosovo.

Hoxhaj: We will stop "Sunny Valley" (media)

Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, told RTV Dukagjini ​today that Serbia's project for building a settlement called "The Sunny Valley" in the northern part of Kosovo will not be implemented. Hoxhaj said the project is illegal and that the Kosovo government will put pressure on Belgrade to stop further construction work. Arguing that the project has colonizing objectives, Hoxhaj also said that only Milosevic's regime could come up with such initiatives.

Đurić: Hardly attainable normalization of relations between Serbs and Albanians (Blic, Sputnik)

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić said this evening that "the persistent aggressive rhetoric", which often is veiled and sometimes not even that, or anti-Serb, by individuals in Pristina, creates negative social climate in which is difficult to achieve normalization of relations between Serbs and Albanians.

Djurić: 2.4 million for Kosovo from China (Kontakt plus radio)

People's Republic of China is willing to donate 2.4 million euros for the construction of “Sunny Valley”, the returnee settlement in Kosovo, reports Kurir daily. Although the total value of the project is not yet known, since the exact number of residential units that will be built is not known, so far China is the largest single donor who has expressed interest in investing. “They will donate equipment worth 2.4 million euros.
