Exhibition in Mitrovica North cancelled, painter prohibited to enter Kosovo with the paintings (Kosovo online)  

Art exhibition of an academic painter Suzana Stojadinovic planned to take place last night at the Faculty of Arts in Mitrovica North has been cancelled, because the artist was not allowed to bring her paintings to Kosovo at the Jarinje crossing point, Kosovo-online portal reports.

In a statement to the portal Stojadinovic said she was appalled by what she has experienced at the Jarinje crossing point.

Office for KiM: Assistant Director Jovic prohibited from entering Kosovo (Serbian media)

The office for Kosovo and Metohija states that Assistant Director of the Office in charge of the protection of cultural heritage, Dusan Jovovic was not allowed today to enter Kosovo through Jarinje crossing, reported Serbian media.

The Office for KiM press release stated that Jovovic planned to visit two Serbian monasteries in Kosovo, where the Office funded the construction of a monastery lodgings and an art workshop.

Tanjug crew allowed through Jarinje administrative crossing after 2-hour wait (Tanjug)

A Tanjug crew was allowed on Thursday to enter Kosovo after a two-hour wait at the Jarinje administrative crossing.

The crew members' personal documents were also returned to them.

The reporters had been held at the administrative crossing with the explanation that they needed approval from the Pristina interior ministry and that they must wait for Pristina's response.

Kosovo online: Assistant Director of KiM Office stopped at Jarinje crossing (B92, Blic)

Assistant Director of the KiM Office Petar Petkovic was stopped at Jarinje administrative crossing and was not allowed to enter Kosovo, reports portal Kosovo online.

Petkovic has been waiting at Jarinje crossing for more than an hour, according to the portal.

Petkovic went to the first pre-election convention of the Serbian List, which is being held in Leposavic today at 1 pm, where he was about to speak on behalf of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Holding of the RTS crew at Jarinje administrative crossing is another in a series of indicators of the problems which Serbs in Kosovo are faced with, said Aleksandar Spiric, President of Mitrovica Interim Municipal Council, reported Zvecan based TV Most.

On Thursday, Spiric told Radio Belgrade 1, inter alia, that “persistence always wins” and that RTS has now witnessed that the everyday life of the local people is full of difficulties and problems.

RTS crew held up at Jarinje crossing allowed to enter Kosovo, UNS condemns delayed entry (KoSSev, RTS)

A large group of RTS crew members travelling to Mitrovica North was held up at Jarinje crossing point yesterday RTS reported. According to RTS its convoy with equipment has been waiting at Jarinje for 20 hours despite paperwork dully submitted. After the delay the convoy entered Kosovo.

Meanwhile, KoSSev portal reports that both Kosovo police and customs claimed they are “not responsible.“

Djuric: Hunt against Serbs has started, Stanisic sent to one-month detention (Danas, RTS)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said a predictable and expected pressure and hunt against Serbs in Kosovo has started following the address of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Saturday, Danas daily reports.

This way, Djuric reacted to the arrest of Serb Goran Stanisic at crossing point of Jarinje, under suspicion of allegedly committing the war crimes in Kosovo.

SNF: Arrest – impermissible pressure on Serbs (Tanjug)

Serbian National Forum (SNF) from Gracanica reacted to the latest arrest of Serb displaced person at Jarinje crossing point warning it is impermissible pressure on the Serbs, reflected in a permanent threat of arrests at the administrative crossing points, under the excuse that they have committed war crimes in 1999, Tanjug reported.

SNF added this way a system of fear for personal security among the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija is being established, in particular among the displaced persons, because Pristina wants to prevent their return.

Serbian Minister of Education was kept for one hour and a half at Jarinje crossing (RTS, TV Most)

Minister of Education in the Government of Serbia, Mladen Sarcevic, was kept for an hour and a half during the crossing of the administrative line Jarinje, when entering Kosovo, where he visited University of Pristina, relocated to Mitrovica North.

According to Sarcevic, although they have duly announced the delegation and received a notice that everything is fine, they were kept at Jarinje crossing for an hour and a half.
