Serbian officials in North Mitrovica for Vidovdan (Kossev)

Not being in Gracanica at the liturgy, nor present at the traditional Memorial Service in Gazimestan, instead paying a visit to North Mitrovica – The head of the Kosovo Office, Marko Djuric, and the Serbian Minister of Education, Mladen Sarcevic, attended a ceremony for Mitrovica University Day, celebrated on Vidovdan. The two high Serbian officials gifted over 40 computers. The University welcomed student leaders and rectors from central Serbia and the Srpska Lista leadership.

Government officials react after being stopped at Jarinje (B92, Tanjug)

Kosovo police have prevented Education Minister Mladen Sarcevic and Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric from entering Kosovo.

They were stopped on Monday at Jarinje - an administrative crossing between Kosovo and central Serbia.

Tanjug is reporting that Sarcevic and Djuric were on their way to Kosovska Mitorivca, where they were to open a student health-care institution at the Student Center.

Police claim "ISIS" threat to University of Pristina not credible (Klan Kosova/Telegrafi)

The University of Pristina had to change the location of today’s ceremony to mark the 47th anniversary of its establishment due to threats it received on behalf of the terror group ISIS. Police forces were seen at the ceremony monitoring the situation. According to reports, University of Pristina received a letter saying it would be attacked on 15 February. Police investigation is ongoing. At the same time, Telegrafi quotes sources from the Kosovo Police saying the letter sent to the UP does not constitute a credible threat.      

Verification of diplomas issued by the University of Pristina in the municipality of Gračanica (KIM radio)

Graduates of the University of Pristina (relocated in Mitrovica north) can submit documentation to the municipality of Gračanica for the verification of diplomas, announced the Office for Community Affairs and the Ministry of Education of Kosovo. The project is managed by the EU Office in Kosovo which recently has published procedures for submitting requests. The right to apply have the students who graduated at the University of Pristina since 2001. The Decree of the Government of Kosovo, from December 2015, provides the verification of diploma and includes checking the validity of diploma
