Serbs not participating in today’s Kosovo parliament session (KIM Radio)

The Serbian List caucus whip in the Kosovo parliament Sasa Milosavljevic stated that MPs from that list will not take part in today’s parliament session.

“MPs from the Serbian List are still waiting to be summoned for a meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia and representatives of the Serbian Government with regard to decision on future participation in Kosovo institutions. Only after this meeting representatives of the Serbian List will present their position about future activities,” said Milosavljevic to Beta agency.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, stated today that the current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hashim Thaci, is expected to become the President of Kosovo next year. Mustafa said during a press conference that the Democratic League of Kosovo will respect the agreement with the Democratic Party of Kosovo, adding that Thaci will become the President of Kosovo in 2016.

Kosovo Serbs seven years after independence (RTK2)

Kosovo Serbs today, on the seventh anniversary of the declaration of independence of Kosovo, share the fate of the whole of Kosovo society, such as poverty and unemployment.

One of the representatives of the Serbs in Kosovo institutions in 2008, when Kosovo declared independence, was also and the current deputy in Assembly of Kosovo, Nenad Rasic. Rasic told RTK2 that the Serbs then tried to find a compromise solution.

Serbian List deputies boycott the Kosovo Assembly session (Gazeta Blic)

Kosovo Assembly deputies are discussing today the issue of the emigration and some other laws, however the deputies of the Serbian List are not participating at the session. The leaders of this List, traveled today to Belgrade to meet the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, after the dismissal of Aleksandar Jablanovic from the post of the Minister of Communities and Returnes, at the Government of Kosovo.
