Milivojevic: Vucic’s talks with EU leaders crucial (RTS)

Serbian diplomat, Zoran Milivojevic told RTS that recent threats voiced by Hashim Thaci indicate there is no political will in Pristina to reach a compromise and normalization of relations with Belgrade, therefore forthcoming talks between Serbian President, Aleksandar Vuci and EU leaders, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel are crucial for the continuation of EU integration.

Pristina "to draft ZSO statute within four months" (B92, Tanjug)

The EU has welcomed the Kosovo PM's announcement on giving the mandate to the management team to draft the statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities, ZSO.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric said that Serbs in Kosovo would not give up on establishing the Association of the Serb Municipalities, despite threats of some of Pristina ministers, BETA news agency reported.

“Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija would not give up on ZSO, since it is our right and something that is international right. ZSO with a signature of EU High Representative Catherine Ashton became part of EU foreign and security policy, and not only the obligation of Pristina,” Djuric said.

Centre for Foreign Policy Chairperson, Aleksandra Joksimovic told Serbian media that EU High Representative, Federica Mogherini with arrival to Belgrade showed a clear support to the Serbian side.

“Usual format of visits to the region includes tours in Belgrade and Pristina. The visit to Belgrade only, indicates a concrete and a clear support to Serbia, since Pristina is responsible for the violence in the north of Kosovo,” Joksimovic told RTS.
