Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), lieutenant-general Kadri Kastrati, met with NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, Marriet Schuurman, Koha reports. Schuurman stated that NATO will encourage the Kosovo institutions in the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) for implementing the UN Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325.

Former head of economic division for the International Civilian Office, Andrea Capussela, writes in an opinion piece for the paper that there was nothing new in the report presented by the EU Special Investigative Task Force (SITF) lead prosecutor Clint Williamson apart from one thing: the report authored by Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty was accurate, in essence, even on the part of organ harvesting.

The Commander of NATO Allied Joint Forces Command Naples, Admiral Bruce W. Clingan, said that NATO will continue to implement its mission in Kosovo in maintaining peace and stability and a  secure environment for all citizens.

Admiral Clingan made the comments in a farewell meeting with Kosovo President, Atifete Jahjaga.

The outgoing Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, met on Wednesday with a delegation of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, headed by the President of this Assembly, Hugh Bayley.

The paper reports in a front-page article that, despite speculation in the Kosovo media, EU diplomats and officials in Brussels say they do not know what will be the outcome of investigations by Clint Williamson in relation to Dick Marty’s allegations of organized crime and organs trafficking. During its work, the Special Task Force led by Williamson cooperated with many countries, especially with Serbia and Albania, but also with NATO and EU member states. Williamson is now asking for institutional cooperation from NATO, which commands the KFOR military mission in Kosovo.
