11 Serbs and Russians arrested in Kosovo, put in 48 hours of detention (RTS, Tanjug, Sputnik, B92)

A group of 11 persons of Serbian and Russian nationality who have been arrested near Podujevo are currently kept in up to 48-hour investigative detention, RTS reported referring to the Kosovo police.

Further procedure will be decided on by a prosecutor after the detained persons have been questioned.
The six Russian and five Serbian citizens, who have been named by the Kosovo police with their initials and year of birth, were arrested on Tuesday for “illegally crossing the administrative line.”

Police investigates threatening graffiti in Pristina (media)

Kosovo Police are investigating graffiti daubed on the walls of one of University of Pristina faculties against President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci, Mayor of Pristina Shpend Ahmeti, and the head of Kosovo’s Islamic Community Naim Ternava. The graffiti was discovered today and it threatens the three officials with death for allowing the construction of a Muslim mosque in Pristina.

Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) condemns incident in Zvecan, criticizes police (KoSSev Portal)

After the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo condemned the setting on fire a vehicle belonging to Doctor Dragisa Milovic and former President of Zvecan Municipality, Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS), headed by Aleksandar Jablanovic also condemned this incident, KoSSev reported.

“This attack is yet another alarm for all international structures in Pristina that crime and violence in the north of Kosovo are becoming a widely accepted manner of clashes and sending political messages,” PKS press release said.

Kosovo police seized 918 Serbian health cards (KoSSev, RTV Puls)

Kosovo police officers seized 918 new health cards on Monday from the director of the branch of the Republic Health Insurance Fund for the municipality of Gnjilane, Jovica Antić. The cards were seized about 15 hours at the administrative border Bela Zemlja, reported RTV Puls.

According to Antić, he was returning from central Serbia with an official vehicle with health cards. At the administrative crossing, he reported to the Kosovo police what the content of the official package was.

Police station in Gracanica, for the three months is without a landline phone, station commander Bratislav Trajkovic confirmed to RTV KIM.

Phone calls at number 038 564 292 remain unanswered, and in cases when help is needed citizens have to go personally and report the problem to the police.

Trajkovic confirmed the phone is not operational for three months already and they have informed the Kosovo post office about it.

A young man stabbed in North Mitrovica (KoSSev)

KoSSev reports that a young man from the village Koretište was stabbed in Northern Mitrovica, during the rally of the Serbian List in the main square.

While insisting on anonymity, several participants of the rally testify to KoSSev that the young man was stabbed in the crowd.

The Kosovo Police confirmed the incident to KoSSev but they stress that at this point they can not confirm whether the incident occurred in the crowd gathered and whether there is any connection with the rally.

Mitrovica North: A young man beaten in the Bosniac mahala (Kontakt plus radio)

Regional Head of Operations of the Kosovo police Željko Bojić told Kontakt plus radio that the police station in Mitrovica last night at 01:50 was informed that a person with face injuries sustained in the fight was admitted at the Clinical - Hospital Center in Mitrovica North.

"It is N. R. (1997) Serbian nationality, and the father of the victim told the police that the boy was attacked in the Luja Braja Street by three persons with masks on their heads and that they spoke Albanian," said Bojić to the radio.

Jablanović charged for the illegal possession of a weapon (Kontakt plus radio, KIM radio)

Regional Head of Operations of the Kosovo Police for North told Kontakt Plus radio that the case was opened by order of the prosecutor.

After consultation with the competent prosecutor, against the president of PKS Aleksandar Jablanović were filed criminal charges for unauthorized possession and use of weapons, after yesterday's incident in Leposavić/Leposaviq.

Media portal NMagazin reports that more people gathered in Leposavić/Leposaviq, and protested against the incident in which the leader of the Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) Aleksandar Jablanović pulled a gun and threatened activists of the Serbian list in front of the police station.

Protest was joined by the President of the Interim Authority in Leposavić Zoran Todić, who has called for a peaceful gathering.
