School in Rabovce, near Lipljan pelted with stones, incident condemned (RTV KIM, Radio kontakt plus)

Part of the school building “Braca Aleksic” used by the Serb pupils in the village of Rabovce was pelted with stones again on Tuesday evening, RTV KIM reports. During the incident four windows on the school were broken. Mayor of Gracanica, Srdjan Popovic visited the school yesterday, saying such scenes are disappointing and take us back to the past. Popovic urged the police to better and more efficient do its job, expressing hope perpetrators, as it was the case in previous incident, will be found.

Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Mitrovic victim of legal violence (KIM Radio)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija is “appalled with the prolongation of Bogdan Mitrovic’s agony, who was arrested at the end of August, in the Suva Reka municipality under false charges that he had participated in war crimes,” Serbian media reported citing the press statement from the Office for Kosovo. The statement further reads witnesses in their testimonies given so far have confirmed that Mitrovic is innocent, thus confirming that he is the victim of lack of justice and legal violence, and his detention was extended, without any grounds, for two more months.

Djuric: Set free arrested Serbian and Russian citizens (Radio Free Europe)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric requested today immediate release of a group of Russian and Serbian citizens arrested near Podujevo. Djuric said their release is intentionally postponed under the excuse that the court has too much work to do, to be able to deal with their case. “I want to emphasise that a pregnant woman and an underage person are among arrested, which makes this unnecessary mistreatment of the Serbian and Russian citizens even more inhuman,” Djuric said.
