Lipljan: Group of young men wrote “UÇK” on Serbian school and house (RTV KIM)

A group of young men jumped over a fence of school “Braca Aleksic” attended by Serbian children and wrote “UÇK” on its wall. Chair of Provisional Council in Lipljan Zlatko Lazic told RTV KIM the young men were Kosovo Albanians and that this incident caused uneasiness among the remaining Serbs in the town. Lazic added that similar things were happening in the past in Lipljan as well, but not during the daylight. “Today, at around 10:45 a group of young Albanians jumped over the fence of Primary School “Braca Aleksic” in Lipljan and wrote “UÇK” on the wall.

School in Rabovce, near Lipljan pelted with stones, incident condemned (RTV KIM, Radio kontakt plus)

Part of the school building “Braca Aleksic” used by the Serb pupils in the village of Rabovce was pelted with stones again on Tuesday evening, RTV KIM reports. During the incident four windows on the school were broken. Mayor of Gracanica, Srdjan Popovic visited the school yesterday, saying such scenes are disappointing and take us back to the past. Popovic urged the police to better and more efficient do its job, expressing hope perpetrators, as it was the case in previous incident, will be found.
