"We should lose only what we have to lose," Vucic says (RTS, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told RTS that the inevitable topic in Davos was Kosovo and Metohija.

He said that it us "up to us to try to talk and reach a compromise, and lose only what we have to."

"This means not losing what we must not lose, and if you want to define it in this way, to lose only what we have to. I think that is something that is normal, rational," Vucic said.

Scott: Belgrade-Pristina dialogue must continue (TV N1)

Belgrade-Pristina dialogue on normalization of relations must continue, despite the shock caused by the murder of the leader of Civic Initiative, Freedom, Democracy, Justice, Oliver Ivanovic, USA Ambassador to Serbia, Kyle Scot told TV N1.

Milena Ivanovic: It is not true Vucic refused to meet my husband (Danas,Tanjug, RTS)

Wife of murdered Oliver Ivanovic, Milena Ivanovic told Danas daily it is not true that the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic refused to meet with her husband, a few days prior to his murder.

Following the statement of the Serbian President Vucic “that he helped Ivanovic more than some other politicians,” speculations appeared in higher political cycles on alleged Vucic’s refusal to meet Oliver Ivanovic, Serbian media reported.

Milena Ivanovic said this information is not accurate.

Jaksic for referendum on Kosovo, but in fair conditions (KIM radio)

Citizens of Serbia to declare on Kosovo in a referendum might be the right solution if it takes place under fair conditions, says Marko Jaksic for RTV KiM, a member of the Presidency of the Movement of Serbs from Kosovo "Fatherland".

Jaksic thinks it's time for the Serbs to say whether they prefer the EU or to preserve Kosovo in Serbia. He notes that he personally opposes any division of Kosovo.

Ristic and Jaksic were not invited to the meeting (KIM radio, FoNet)

Independent MP in the Serbian Assembly Slavisa Ristic said  that he was not invited to a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in the northern part of Mitrovica, reported on Saturday KIM radio.

Ristic, who is also the former Mayor of Zubin Potok, said he believed that, unlike Kosovo deputies from the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in the Serbian Assembly, he was not invited because "there were not supposed to be people who tell the truth about what is happening in the north of Kosovo ".

The process of settling the status of Kosovo, which recently received an unexpected turn after the murder of one of the leaders of Kosovo Serbs Oliver Ivanović, is entering the final phase. This, according to experts, became even more obvious after the interview of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić given to the Serbian state television channel RTS on January 14. In it, Vučić for the first time expressed concern that a decision on the Kosovo and Metohija issue cannot be made within the framework of the existing constitution of Serbia.

Forty days after the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, a group of activists lead by Sanda Raskovic-Ivic Deputy President of Peoples Party (Vuk Jeremic’s party) would organize a protest gathering before the Serbian President Office at Andricev venac in Belgrade, Danas daily reports.

They will place posters with the photos of Zvonko Veselinovic, Milan Radojcic and Zoran Milojevic. Posters will also include inscriptions “Either they or we”.

Djuric, analysts on Vucic’s visit to Kosovo (Tanjug, RTS)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric said the result of Serbian President Vucic’s visit to Kosovo is that Serbia is getting united aiming to help our people in a southern province, as the Serbs in Kosovo are also getting united in a wish to strive for their survival jointly, supported by the state, RTS reported.

Djuric also said, the visit provides a crucial contribution to overcome a difficult challenge and a great anguish, and he is convinced this is the right way, RTS reported.
