Belgrade-based daily Blic reported that in the village of Zac near Istok, parts of the forest were burned due to the fire that spread from surrounding fields. The daily added that attacks on the property of Serbian returnees in Kosovo were recorded in the village of Novake near Prizren.

Office for KiM condemns attack on Health House in Novake village (Radio kontakt plus, RTS)

Unknown perpetrators attacked last night Health House in the village of Novake, Prizren municipality, causing material damage, Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced.

During the attack, windows of the Health House were broken. Police conducted investigation, while the perpetrators remain unknown.

This is yet another in a series of attacks against Serb properties and that of the Republic of Serbia within a short time frame, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija said in a statement. It added, the attack caused disturbance among inhabitants in the village.

Djuric urged those affected by thefts to address municipalities or KIM Office for compensation (KoSSev, TV Most)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric urged those “who sustained damages over the recent period” to address the municipalities or the Office for Kosovo and Metohija for compensation, KoSSev portal reported.

“We would do our utmost to compensate these people,” Djuric added. He also announced talks are underway with insurance companies and banks in order to find a solution so farmers and people dealing with agriculture in Kosovo and Metohija can have insurances against thefts under the state expenses.

According to the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission (CEC), the candidate of the Serbian List Strahinja Spasic has won, a candidate for whom the Office for Kosovo and Metohija claimed that he had given up his candidacy, NMagazin writes by quoting portal Komentarpress.

According to CIK data, 1,030 voters voted for Strahinja Spasic, and 1,020 voters for his opponent Bozidar Dejanovic.

Office for Kosovo and Metohija: Urgently to find out who attacked Staletovic (RTS)

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija asked the competent authorities in Kosovo to urgently determine who committed the attack on Bojan Staletovic in the multi-ethnic settlement of the Bosniak Mahalla in the northern part of Mitrovica, RTS reports.

"We warn that incidents of this kind, besides the Serbs' unrest in Kosovska Mitrovica, can cause an uncontrolled escalation of interethnic violence, which is not in the interest of Serbian and Albanian residents of this city," the statement reads, RTS reports.
