Investigation against two Serbs for espionage launched (TV N1, RFE, KoSSev)

Basic Prosecution Office in Gnjilane has launched an investigation against two local Serbs suspected of espionage, Radio Free Europe reported on Friday. The two men, both school principals were arrested on July 10 at crossing point Bela Zemlja, after police found some documents in their car while they were travelling to the Serbian town of Vranje.

New thefts in Klokot, cow and vehicle stolen (RTV Puls)

Unknown perpetrators, have stolen last night, a cow and a calf belonging to a Serb Nisic family in Klokot, RTV Puls reported.

This is not the first time that thieves are attacking the property of this family. This is the seventh incident and none of the previous cases have been resolved, RTV Puls added.

“In the last one year they have stolen everything, from five tones of wheat, 170 hens, doves, burglarized the house, even stole food from the refrigerator,” Zoran Nisic told RTV Puls, repeating the police did not resolve any of the cases.

Bozidar Dejanovic, new mayor of Klokot (Blic, SRNA)

Srpska Lista candidate, Bozidar Dejanovic is a new mayor of Klokot municipality, the Kosovo Central Election Commission confirmed to the SRNA news agency.

The statement was made, following count of the so-called conditional and by-mail ballots.

According to SRNA, Dejanovic won 22 votes more, and his opponent Strahinja Spasic won 2 votes, which made total 1042 votes for Dejanovic and 1032 votes for Spasic.

With Dejanovic’s result, Srpska Lista achieved victories in all 10 Serb-majority municipalities, Blic daily reported.

Head of EU Monitoring Mission Alojz Peterle says for the KIM radio that the support of the Serbian List to its opponent in Klokot in local elections was an unusual event that could cause technical problems.

By-mail votes could change result in Klokot (RTK2, Radio Kosovo 2, Kontakt plus radio)

Who would be a new mayor of Klokot, Strahinja Spasic or Bozidar Dejanovic would be known after the counting of all the ballots, Serbian media reported today.

Meanwhile, Dragan Petkovic is a new mayor of the Partes municipality.

Officially, there were two candidates running for the mayor of Klokot municipality. Strahinja Spacic as Srpska Lista candidate and Bozidar Dejanovic as a candidate of a Civic Initiative Klokot-Vrbovac.

Strahinja Spasic declared victory in Klokot (KIM Radio)

Strahinja Spasic, Srpska Lista mayoral candidate in the municipality of Klokot, declared victory in the second round of mayoral elections, KIM Radio reported.

RTS earlier reported that Bozidar Dejanovic, who joined Srpska Lista before the second round of mayoral elections in Klokot, won elections while the Central Election Commission said he was leading ahead of Spasic,

KIM radio further reported that “Lista Srpska Strahinja Spasic won 1030 votes, while opposition headed by Bozidar Dejanovic won 1020 votes”.
