A car stolen to Djordjevic family in Partes (B92, RTK2)

Unknown perpetrators have stolen a vehicle to the five-member family Djordjevic from Donja Budriga in the municipality of Partes.

RTK2 reported that theft occurred on Tuesday around three in the morning, and the estimated damage was about 1,500 euros. The robbers also stolen from the owner the complete Serbian and Kosovo documentation, as well as credit cards.

Last week, from Vasic and Mirkovic families were stolen two cows.

Security Committee session scheduled because of thefts in Partes (Radio KIM)

Partes Mayor, Dragan Petkovic scheduled for tomorrow an urgent session of the Security Committee because of latest thefts that occurred in this municipality, KIM Radio reports. Families Stankovic, Lazic and Vasic from the village were targets of thefts, that included stealing cattle, vehicle, hunting weapon, and pedigreed dogs. The Radio noted, representatives of the OSCE Mission and Kosovo police are also invited to attend the session, while municipality announced they would find the way to support and help affected families.

In a series of thefts two nights ago, thieves have stolen from Serbs in the village of Partes, one vehicle, tools, hunting weapon, several cows, and two dogs, Serbian media reported. These cases disturbed the village inhabitants, who claim there is no one to protect them from frequent thefts. At night between Friday and Saturday, thieves stole from Miodrag Stankovic a Golf vehicle, hunting weapon, tools and two Belgium Sheppard puppies.

The charges against former Mayor of Partes dropped (KIM radio)

The Appellate Court in Pristina dismissed the charges against former Mayor of Partes Dragan Nikolic for the criminal offense of misusing his official position, KIM radio reports.

On October 16, 2017, the Basic Court in Gnjilane sentenced Nikolic to probation of imprisonment for six months for the criminal offense of abuse of official duty.

Elections in two municipalities with Serbian majority on Sunday (RTS)

In Kosovo, a second round of elections for the presidents of 19 municipalities will be held in Kosovo on Sunday. Elections will be held in two municipalities with Serb majority: Klokot, and in Partes and Pasjane.

The second round will be held in Klokot, because president of the municipality was not elected in the first round of elections, and in Partes and Pasjane, the election for the president will be repeated after the Appeals Panel has decided to accept the objections of one of the two candidates.

Srpska Lista to freeze communication with Hashim Thaci (RTS)

RTS reports Srpska Lista sent a letter to the Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, saying that his politics, in the segments related to the position of Serbs in Kosovo, is anti-constitutional, anti-legal and to the detriment of the Serb population. Therefore, as Srpska Lista announced they would freeze any form of communication with Hashim Thaci.

Srpska Lista, reacting to the allegations of a candidate for Partes mayor, Nenad Cvetkovic leader of the Civic Initiative “Peoples Unity” that “votes are being paid for” in this municipality, refuted its claims, saying that “Srpska Lista convincingly won elections in Partes on 22 October, and everything else is a consequence of Cvetkovic’s lies and manipulations,” KIM Radio reported. “It is obvious that Cvetkovic has nothing to offer to the citizens in this municipality, apart from hatred toward Srpska Lista and Serbia.

Vucic: "A clear intention of the Albanian factor to weaken the position of the Serbian List" (Serbian media)

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic told reporters during a visit to the construction site of the Belgrade-Waterfront Gallery that next week the SNS should adopt a position on calling parliamentary elections along with the Belgrade ones.

Vucic also stated that the intention of the Albanian factor and the part of the international community was clear to weaken the position of the Serbian List and Serbia in Kosovo, and that he expects this pressure to continue, reported the Serbian media.
