GI SDP: Bozovic met with Soltes (Radio kontakt plus)

Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice, (GI SDO) deputy leader Ksenija Bozovic met with the European Parliament Rapporteur for Kosovo, Igor Soltes, and one of the topics discussed was Oliver Ivanovic murder investigation, Kontakt plus radio reported.

Bozovic said the meeting was short but constructive and her assessment is that Soltes is very well informed about political developments in Kosovo and all the issues Serbs are facing.

MEP Igor Šoltes, Rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament (Group of the Greens/EFA) is horrified over the murder of Serb political leader in Kosovo Oliver Ivanović which happened in northern Mitrovica:

“I strongly condemn the murder which is throwing a dark shadow on the rule of law and dialogue. I call on all relevant institutions to make everything in their power to bring the culprits in front of the justice.”

International officials continue to make it clear that without ratification of the demarcation with Montenegro, Kosovo will not become part of the countries that enjoy free movement. Igor Soltes, new Rapporteur for Kosovo, says the “ball” is already on the hands of Kosovo.

“I hope that Kosovo could leave aside its internal political differences and decide in favor of the entire nation by resolving the matter of demarcation of the border which would have been a major step towards visa liberalization,” Soltes said.
