Burundi will not change its stance on Kosovo (B92)

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic assessed on Friday that Burundi, with its decision, of  last year, to withdraw recognition of Kosovo, has contributed to a change in the balance of powers in the international arena and the position of Serbia in the negotiation process, the Serbian government announced.

President thanks Burundi for revoking Kosovo recognition (B92, Serbian media)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Burundi's foreign minister, Alain Aime Nyamitwe, in Belgrade on Tuesday, his office said in a statement.

Vucic on the occasion "expressed great gratitude for the country's decision to revoke its recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo."

Dacic announces his "contribution" to Kosovo anniversary (B92, Tanjug)

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic announced on Saturday that Burundi had revoked its recognition of Kosovo.

Dacic was in this African country on Thursday.

"These days the tenth anniversary is marked in Pristina of the unilateral proclamation of Kosovo's independence. I wish to make my contribution. I brought with me a note from Burundi's Foreign Ministry, revoking the recognition of Kosovo," Dacic told an unscheduled news conference in Belgrade.
