Petrovic: There will be no quarrel over posts in the government (Dnevnik)

The leader of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS), Slobodan Petrovic confirmed for Dnevnik that the Serbian list would accept to be part of the new ruling coalition in Kosovo, while he denied that some special conditions would be placed for Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa. Petrovic, who has been vice president of Thaci's previous government, explains that the basis for discussion would be topics that are on the table from day one - the issue of return, the formation of the ZSO, privatization, SPC and economic status of the Serbian community.

Qeku wants the army, but he needs the Serbs (Blic)

Agim Qeku, Kosovo Minister of Security Forces (KSF) announced a rapid transformation of KSF in the Kosovo Armed Forces, immediately after the inauguration of the new Kosovo parliament. However, the Law can be passed only if two-thirds majority in the parliament as well at least two thirds of the members of minorities support it. Half of minority MPs are Serbs, which means that some of them should vote for the proposal. But, Serbian MPs deny such a possibility.

Petrovic: Majority coalition in the parliament is acceptable, soon first session (RTK2)

MP of the Serbian List, Slobodan Petrovic welcomed the agreement of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) on the formation of the Kosovo government and announced support in the parliament session which will be held soon. "It is certain that it is necessary to form a government as soon as possible and to constitute the parliament. We welcome the agreement that was mandatory, in order to get out of the political crisis that lasts more than six months," said Petrovic.

Crisis obstacle to formation of Community of Serbian Municipalities (RTK2)

The SLS President, Slobodan Petrovic said that it is very important to reach a solution of the political crisis in Kosovo because the formation of the Community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) depends of it.

Petrovic told Tanjug that it is important to find a solution to the political crisis in Kosovo that would allow the election of the Speaker of Parliament or the formation of a new Government.

“The Serbian List doesn’t want to be a part of the problem, but part of the solution,” said Kosovo deputy PM, Slobodan Petrovic, adding that the position of the Serbian List did not change. "We are ready to take part of the responsibility, not only in parliament but also in the government. We will support the party, or coalition, that has a majority, and thus will demonstrate our willingness to solve problems, "said Petrovic.
