Head of Administration in the municipality of North Mitrovica, Adriana Hodzic said yesterday that the formation of Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) was an "agreed thing" and a compromise solution must be found for the implementation.

Hodzic has stated that, according to her knowledge, the topic of the ZSO was very seriously considered in Brussels and believes that the agreement will have the same effect as an agreement on insurance of vehicles that have been reached Belgrade and Pristina.

Dialogue to continue for ten days (Danas)

The Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) should have its coat of arms, parliament, president and the council of 30 members.

Belgrade-Pristina dialogue could be continued for ten days. Until then there will be consultation with both sides, and if judged that the agreements on the Community/Association of Serbian Municipalities and telecommunications could be signed, there will be a new meeting between the two Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Isa Mustafa, learned Danas from sources close to the negotiating teams.

Djuric: Pristina uninterested in agreement (RTS)

Pristina refused to agree on telecommunications and the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities. Serbia is ready to continue the negotiations, but so far there is no exact date for the resumption of dialogue in Brussels, Djuric notes.

Self-Determination: Kosovo will be the second BiH with the ZSO (N1)

One of the main topics of talks between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels is about the Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO). Attitudes are different in Serbia and Kosovo on jurisdiction and the format of this Association/Community. Question of jurisdiction of the ZSO is completed, said Edita Tahiri, and Ilir Deda of Self-Determination claims that Kosovo will be the second BiH with this community.

The question of the powers of the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities, the head of Kosovo's negotiating team, Edita Tahiri considered complete.

Djuric: Without the formation of Community/Association of Serbian municipalities there is no progress (RTV Pink, Vecernje Novosti)

We have clearly sent a message that we are for further progress in the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, and without the establishment of the Association/Community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) progress is not possible, said Marko Djuric, Director of the Office of the Government of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija.

Davenport: Talks on ZSO in a month's time (Blic, Tanjug)

Direct discussions between Belgrade and Pristina on the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) in Kosovo will be on the agenda of the Brussels negotiations in a month's time, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport has said.

“That is one of the key topics in the Brussels agreement, and the EU insists on its full implementation,” Davenport told TV Vojvodina on Monday.

Maric: The formation of the ZSO crucial for the survival of Serbs (RTS)

Respect of the Brussels Treaty and the formation of the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities are crucial for the survival of Serbs in Kosovo, says Ljubomir Maric, Minister for Local Self-Government in Kosovo. He claims that the Serbs had the support of the international community and announced the formation of inter-ministerial group for the return of displaced Serbs.

Visiting the RTS1, Maric said that the attacks and unrest in Macedonia clearly indicate with what kind of security challenges we are living.

Awaiting the foundation of the ZSO (Vecernje Novosti)

Serbs expect from Pristina to initiate as soon as possible the formation of working groups that will deal with the Association/Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO).

The first test of the relations between the coalition partners towards the Serbian list will be the establishment of working groups, which should lay the foundation for the formation of ZSO.
