Vucic is not going to Gracanica (Danas)

Serbian PM, Aleksandar Vucic, will not attend the unveiling of the monument dedicated to  King Milutin in the yard of the school in Gracanica, which is celebrating 140 years of its existence. Branimir Stojanovic, mayor of Gracanica, a municipality in Kosovo system of local government, said that celebration was postponed due to technical reasons, and will be held probably at the end of November."

Djuric: Rama’s statement his identity card (RTS)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric says the statement of the President of the Albanian government Edi Rama on Kosovo’s independence will not change the road of Serbia to stability in the region

In the RTS morning program, Marko Djuric said that Serbia will not stray from the road of reforms that it started.

Djuric said that the Rama's statement is "his identity card," and that is falls within the category of statements that are intended to provoke.

After the joint press conference incident, when Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić accused Albanian PM, Edi Rama, of a breach of protocol for speaking about Kosovo as independent and inviting Serbia to recognize the territory it considers its own, Vučić posted, in English, the following message on Twitter:

"Today was a chance for us to turn a new page. We regret that Prime Minister Rama’s provocation has led to a missed opportunity, but we would still like to work together for the future of our region."

 

Serbian President says he refused to meet with Rama (Blic, B92, Tanjug)

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić's office said late on Monday that he had refused to receive visiting Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama. The reason is that "provocations were to be expected from him," a statement said.

"On the occasion of the provocations of Albanian Premier Edi Rama during his visit to Serbia, the Presidential Service for Media Cooperation is stressing that this kind of behavior was expected from him, which was the key reason why President Tomislav Nikolić refused to meet with him," a statement said.

Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama said he was surprised that someone in Serbia could be provoked by position that Kosovo is an independent state. "For me it is fascinating that this can provoke you. That is not something I dreamed. It is the reality. Many countries that Serbia cooperates with recognized Kosovo as an independent state," said Rama.

Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama will visit Serbia on 10 November, announced yesterday the Government of Serbia. His arrival was first scheduled for October 22, and then postponed by mutual agreement of Rama and his Serbian counterpart and future host Aleksandar Vucic.

Vucic and Rama, as said, have discussed yesterday afternoon and agreed that the incidents at last week's football game between Serbia and Albania in Belgrade "in essence were very unhappy" and that "there are clear disagreements about how the incident occurred".
