Leader of the opposition Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), Milos Jovanovic told Serbian media the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic sent from New York “a clear confession” that the policy “both Kosovo and the EU has faced a complete failure.”

“This irrational Kosovo policy that he hastily implements, launched in 2008 by Democratic Party (DS), President of the Republic quite accurately called “stupid and irresponsible,” Jovanovic said in a written statement.

Leader of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Milos Jovanovic told Danas daily that immediately after the Belgrade elections, issues of the Constitution of Serbia and a struggle to preserve Kosovo within the state of Serbia would be moving on.

“Vucic said he will unveil his proposal on Kosovo at the beginning of April, therefore we expect that the issue of territorial integrity of Serbia would be moved on,” Jovanovic told Serbian media.

The two vice-presidents of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and members of the Central Committee, Marko Jakšić and Slaviša Ristić, have resigned from the positions at the session of the Main Board, due to, as they say, the DSS cooperation with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

First to resign was Marko Jakšić, who then left the session. He also said that he is leaving the party.

DSS Provincial Board for Kosovo and Metohija in its latest press release supports the former President Sanda Rašković-Ivić in the attitude that "in no case'' should be made up a coalition with the Serbian Progressive Party in Voždovac, and especially not in Vračar, because the municipality of Vračar is a "symbol of resistance to dictatorship of Aleksandar Vučić."
