Dacic: There is no pressure on Serbia that Kosovo enters the UN (Danas)

There is no pressure on Serbia that Kosovo enters the United Nations, told Danas, Ivica Dacic, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. He denied that there are pressures from Germany and other Western countries onto Belgrade to weaken the relationship with the Republika Srpska and to support constitutional reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Asked whether Serbia would weaken ties with Republika Srpska and support constitutional reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he said that nobody requested it of us.

Vucic and Mustafa in Brussels on 23 June (Danas)

Political dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina should continue on June 23, when prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo, Aleksandar Vucic and Isa Mustafa should meet in Brussels, learned Danas.  As stated, Vucic and Mustafa should discuss and possibly put initials on “solutions that the teams for technical talks will agree till then.”

Samuel Zbogar: SAA for Kosovo under the accelerated procedure (Danas)

The Stabilisation and Association Agreement for Kosovo was adopted by the European Commission. In accordance with the Lisbon Treaty, the SAA for Kosovo does not require from the EU Member States to ratify it at the national level, and therefore will be implemented more quickly. The SAA will only be ratified in the European Parliament - said in an interview with Danas, Head of the EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar, explaining the procedure by which Pristina will, already in June, reach the SAA.

More than 300 Albanians from Kumanovo found temporary shelter in Presevo (Danas)

Police and Customs services performed their duties normally at the Presevo border crossing, during the clashes in Kumanovo. The buses, transporting tourists to the resorts in Greece were regularly passing.  Border police denied the allegations of some media that the crossing was closed during the fiercest escalation of conflicts, which occurred between FYROM security forces and armed Albanian groups.
