Romania needs to comply with the EU on Kosovo (Danas)

The newly elected chairman of the ‘Friends of Serbia’ informal group in the European Parliament (EP) Emilian Pavel believes that when it came to the recognition of Kosovo, Romania should align its position with that of other European Union members. Assessing last week's statement of Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, who said that Bucharest could recognize Kosovo, Pavel said that so far, Kosovo has received about 110 diplomatic recognition, including recognition of 23 out of 28 EU member states.

The draft of the ZSO is still being kept secret (Danas)

The long awaited technical negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina about the Association /Community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) in Kosovo and Metohija should begin in Brussels today, with the discussions on the draft of the ZSO. More than 300 Albanians from Kumanovo found temporary shelter in Presevo (Danas)

Police and Customs services performed their duties normally at the Presevo border crossing, during the clashes in Kumanovo. The buses, transporting tourists to the resorts in Greece were regularly passing.  Border police denied the allegations of some media that the crossing was closed during the fiercest escalation of conflicts, which occurred between FYROM security forces and armed Albanian groups. There is coordinated cooperation with the FYROM border police and there were no problems, confirmed an unnamed police source.
