McAllister concentrates on how to get Brussels dialogue back on track, EU took a note of a debate on the exchange of territories (N1, RFE)

David McAllister, the European Parliament (EP) Rapporteur for Serbia told Radio Free Europe (RFE) in an interview his delegation called on Pristina authorities to revoke the decision on the 100 percent import taxes on goods from Serbia to enable the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue to resume, the Beta news agency reported on Wednesday.

The foreign policy committee of the European Parliament tomorrow should adopt the text of the report on Serbia, which includes a compromise amendment on the possible correction of the borders between Serbia and Kosovo, reports Radio Television Serbia (RTS).

"Any agreement can only be accepted if it is mutually consistent and in line with the overall stability of the region and international law," the text of the agreed amendment states.

McAllister: Belgrade and Pristina not to block each other (Radio KIM)

Rapporteur for Serbia and chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, David McAllister, said that Belgrade and Pristina are expected to remain committed to dialogue. McAllister pointed out that Belgrade and Pristina are expected not to play "game" of mutual accusations and to refrain from any action that would jeopardize the progress achieved so far in the process. "We all watched what happened in the past few weeks and I think that this development points out for the need of stronger involvement of both sides.
