CI SDP: Serbian List makes pressure on our candidates (RTK, Kontakt plus radio)

After Tatjana Ivaz and Dalibor Antić withdrew the candidacy for councillors in front of CI SDP Oliver Ivanović, Tomislav Dejanović from the CI "For Our Zvečan" led by Dragiša Milović also asked withdrawel of his candidacy in the upcoming local elections on October 22.

He, like the previous two candidates, publicly supported the Serbian List.

Trial to the Leader of the Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP), Oliver Ivanovic would continue tomorrow at the Basic Court in Mitrovica, Kontakt plus radio reported.

In a statement given to the radio, Ivanovic said he expects this trial to be much faster than the previous one, not that painful, adding, he expects a just and fair decision at the end of the trial.

I have nothing to do with mentioned crimes, Ivanovic underlined, adding he expects to be freed.

Srpska Lista in the strongest terms condemns the latest incident in Mitrovica North, in which a vehicle owned by the leader of the Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy and Justice (GI SDP) Oliver Ivanovic was burned down and calls upon the international community and security structure to swiftly resolve the case.

They also called upon the international community and security structure to raise the security level at the highest level, as the peace and tranquility of the people are of crucial importance for survival of Serbs in Kosovo.

Oliver Ivanovic's car set on fire (KoSSev portal, B92)

A car owned by Oliver Ivanovic was set on fire in the northern Mitrovica at 04:00 hours CET on Friday morning, Serbian media are reporting.

Kossev portal received confirmation of the incident from both Ivanovic and from the deputy regional chief of Kosovo Police, Besim Hoti.

It is reported that the car, a VW Passat, was parked in front of the pharmacy in Lole Ribara Street when it was torched.

The case is considered an arson attack that caused general danger.
