President of the provisional organ of the municipality of Mitrovica North Aleksandar Spiric said today that the workers of this municipality will not lose their jobs. "In regards to the unnecessary confusion of the citizens and employees I have to emphasize that the employees of the municipal administration, as well as workers who are indirect beneficiaries of the municipality of Mitrovica North will not lose their jobs. With this move we will strengthen the institutions and will be able to work for the benefit and livelihoods of citizens of Mitrovica North," stressed Spirić.

The caucus whip of the Serbian List in the Kosovo parliament, Saša Milosavljević, said to RTK2 that the List had reached the agreement with the Albanian coalition partners that unilateral moves won’t happen in future.

“The essence is that we’ll do everything together in future, that we’ll agree over all issues with coalition partners, and what is maybe most important is that we’ll create inter-ministerial groups that will deal with all issues which are important for both, Serbian community and other citizens of Kosovo,” said Milosavljević.

The Peace Park can be removed only when mayors from northern and southern parts of Mitrovica agree about it, says Marko Ðurić.

Ðurić said to journalists in North Mitrovica that Peace Park exists on the basis of the agreement reached in August last year, and that it can only be removed after mayors of northern and southern parts of Mitrovcia reach consent over it.

Serbian national forum (SNF) presented at a round table the draft platform which identified the major strategic issues for the Serbian community in Kosovo. They believe that solving these problems is necessary for the survival of Serbs in Kosovo and invite Serbian institutions to do more. The sale and confiscation of property owned by Serbs, Trepca, Gazivode, Brezovica are strategic issues listed in the draft platform of SNF.

Leaders of local administration in northern Kosovo requested yesterday from Kosovo Police a concrete measures for the stabilization of situation in North Mitrovica following the range of incidents in that town during the Easter.

Serbian gendarmerie prevented today another attempt of wood stilling along the administrative line with Kosovo.

In the area of the village Vasiljevac in Kursumlija Municipality Serbian gendarmerie spotted a group of wood thieves who escaped after gendarmes fired several shots in the air, Tanjug learned in the Ministry of Interior (MUP) of Serbia. MUP communicated that EULEX was informed about the incident.
