Smaka: Unacceptable non-representation of the Montenegrin community (RTK2)

Professor of the Constitutional Law Riza Smaka argues that status of Montenegrins in Kosovo is unacceptable, since they do not exist as a community in the Kosovo Constitution. Adopted two amendments to the law on property in Kosovo (RTK2)

The Kosovo Assembly adopted in principle the law on the Kosovo Agency for assessment and verification of assets. The law was passed by the votes of MPs of the ruling majority while the opposition was against it. This law deal with issues concerning legal and immovable property and facilitation of the implementation of return of cadastral documents from Kosovo, which are in central Serbia.

The issue of the budgets of the municipalities in the North will be solved this week (RTK2)

Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration in Kosovo's government Bajram Gecaj expressed hope that during this week municipalities in northern Kosovo will adopt their budgets. UNHCR: Albanians on the third place in the number of applications for asylum (RTK2)

According to the UNHCR, 55,700 Albanians from Kosovo and southern Serbia last year filed a request for asylum. Jobs for 483 members of the Civil Protection (RTK2)

Pristina-based daily ‘Koha ditore’ reported that Kosovo government institutions will open 483 jobs in northern Kosovo for members of the Civil Protection, which is due to be disbanded.

Members of the Civil Protection will get a new boss but they won’t change the office location. They will be engaged in all government services and agencies, but they won’t change the premises which they currently use in northern Kosovo.
