Professor of the Constitutional Law Riza Smaka argues that status of Montenegrins in Kosovo is unacceptable, since they do not exist as a community in the Kosovo Constitution. RTK2 director Zarko Joksimovic stated that behind so called Serbian media community and Association of Journalists of Kosovo and Metohija (DNKiM) lays financial interest of few private Serbian media in Kosovo. No one in RTK2, said Joksimovic, is against the constructive ideas which would contribute to better law on RTK and added that such communiqués (of DNKiM) are knocking on an open door. “RTK2 channel has a budget guaranteed by the law and is no way hinting that financier or anyone else had influenced editorial or program policy of the house,” said Joksimov

Pristina-based daily ‘Koha ditore’ reported that Kosovo government institutions will open 483 jobs in northern Kosovo for members of the Civil Protection, which is due to be disbanded.

Members of the Civil Protection will get a new boss but they won’t change the office location. They will be engaged in all government services and agencies, but they won’t change the premises which they currently use in northern Kosovo.
