Djuric: Tensions in Mitrovica a topic in Brussels (TV Most)

Situation in Mitrovica and the manner in which justice is carried out will be the most important topic of the talks in Brussels, said today Director of the office for KiM, Marko Djuric.

"The main topic of discussions will be the situation in Kosovska Mitrovica, where there are still tensions due to the bridge events. The representatives of extremist groups cannot place their monuments, as is the Adem Jashari monument in the core of Serbs," said Djuric to the TV Pink the day before travel to Brussels.

Kosovo office head: Ministerial positions for Serbs (B92, TV Most, KiM radio)

BELGRADE -- Serbia opted to participate in the Kosovo authorities and take on responsibility and expects Serbs to be given ministerial posts, says Marko Đurić.

"Serbia has chosen to take on a considerable part of responsibility for security, economic sustainability and quality of life of the entire Serb community in the province by participating in the Kosovo government," said the director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Serbs to be released pending trial (TV Most)

Representatives of the Serbian National Council of Northern Kosovo and Metohija submitted today a petition signed by 18,000 citizens of Kosovo and Metohija requiring the arrested Serbs to be released pending trial.

"The arrested Serbs, Dragoljub Delibasic, Oliver Ivanovic, Radovan Radic and others must be insured the right to a fair trial and the possibility to prove their innocence while released pending trial," says the letter, delivered along with the petition to the Head of EULEX Mission Bernd Borchardt and Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Farid Zarif.

The Brussels Agreement in the Constitutional court (TV Most)

Today in the Constitutional Court in Belgrade will start a public debate on the constitutionality of the Brussels Treaty, signed by Belgrade and Pristina a year ago.

A public hearing on the proposal to review the constitutionality of the initialled "first agreement on the principles governing the normalization of relations" between the Serbian government and the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Pristina on April 2013 will start at 11am.

Cornerstones laid for residential buildings in K. Mitrovica (TV Most,Tanjug)

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Officials of the Kosovska Mitrovica self-government authorities on Thursday laid the cornerstones for two buildings in the local Brdjani residential area and another in Suvi Do.

The construction works in Brdjani are expected to be completed in 150 days and all contractors are from the territory of Kosovo-Metohija.

The project, funded by the Kosovska Mitrovica interim municipal authority, is worth nearly RSD 30 million.

Djuric in Kosovo (RTS,TV Most, KiM radio)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric will visit Kosovo, the Office for KiM announced.

Djuric will visit the monastery of Gracanica, where he will meet with Bishop Theodosius, Bishop of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija.

This will be the first official meeting for Djurić since he took the office of the director, and also his first visit to Kosovo, the statement added.

After the talks, Djuric will be in the monastery courtyard, and will address the public.
