Macron comes to Serbia directly from Russia, taking over the role of mediator? (Blic, Tanjug, B92)

Despite his standpoint against EU expansion, French President Emmanuel Macron comes to Belgrade with a message that France supports Serbia's EU integration. This is according to Belgrade-based newspaper Blic that further said President Macron will pass on to the President of Serbia that France supports Serbia in resolving an open conflict with Kosovo Albanians.

Analyst: One should not expect swift agreement between Belgrade and Pristina (RTS, Radio KIM)

The European Union does not have unified stance when it comes to Kosovo and Metohija and that is why one should not expect a swift reaching of an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, analyst Branko Rudin told Serbian national broadcaster RTS. “Format of Kosovo representation on the international plan is limited, however there are different interpretations from Bulgaria to Spain, which are diametrically opposing. The EU has no united stance, the majority of the member states did recognize Kosovo, however there is no consensus about that.
