Candidates who didn’t make it through in the first round of elections for the mayor of Northern Mitrovica, Adrijana Hodzic and Agim Deva did not declare about eventual support to any of candidates in the runoff.

Hodzic said to Kontakt plus radio that she won’t call her voters to support Oliver Ivanovic or Krstimir Pantic. “I always called people to vote according to their conscious and I will do the same this time, too. I will call people to turn out en masse and to vote in accordance to their conscious, because I consider invitation for voting for any of two candidates as the violation of every principle of the democracy. It is not about teenagers, it is about people who are adults and who can bring decision on their own,” said Hodzic.

On the other side Agim Deva from the Democratic Party of Kosovo said that he will bring decision in the course of next week.

“Everything is possible, it seems that there must be coalitions, no party can make it on its own. We still didn’t decide, we’ll make decision untill Wednesday whether we’ll support anyone. For the time being we are neutral,” said Deva.

Deva added that he still didn’t speak to any of candidates about eventual coalition for the local assembly in Northern Mitrovica where DPK could be a decisive factor.

Krstimir Pantic as a candidate of the Civic Initiative ‘Srpska’ and Oliver Ivanovic on the ticket of Civic Initiative SDP will run in the runoff on 1 December.
