Beginning from next year it is expected that all Kosovo citizens to be equipped with health insurance cards. Minister of Health, Ferid Agani said for Radio Kosova that this public insurance will alleviate the life of citizens. Meanwhile, according to him, institutions are working seriously that this health insurance scheme to be put in function soon.
After passing first hearing in Kosovo Assembly, the Law for Health Insurance now it is in parliamentary procedure and is expected to be approved within two months, said health minister, Ferid Agani. He informed that at the time is being worked parallel in fund collection in order that the application procedure to start from next year.
“It can be expected that in the beginning of next year to have this system. With the beginning of the functioning of Fund for Health Insurance the amount of financial funds will be raised visibly, in which we will be able to help cases who are looking for treatment outside Kosovo and who are facing with extraordinary expenses at the moment. Surely we will be in more favorable situation to help these patients,” said minister Agani
For Kosovo citizens the Law for Health insurances is welcomed, but according to them, it is hard to believe to happen. “Nothing to believe on, all lies,” said a citizen.
