Application process for registration of farms is ongoing. Farmers who are interested in receiving subsidies can report to the Department of the Treasure in Gračanica/Graçanicë until the end of March.
Registration of agricultural farms is ongoing process from 2005 and every farmer wishing to receive subsidies from the Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia is due to renew their registration.
Head of the Department of the Treasure in Gračanica/Graçanicë Slaviša Jovanović said that interest for registration is big.
“Renewal of the farm means renewal of the vegetable crops. Everyone who reports is entitled to subsidies given by the Republic of Serbia in 2014. New farms could be registered as well,” said Jovanović.
Regulation on subsidies is expected to be enacted in early May. In previous years farmers received RSD 6.000 for a hectare of cultivated land.
