Albanians of “Kodra e Minatoreve” neighborhood in Mitrovica North are facing with big problems and challenges. The security issue, bad economic conditions are just some of the concerns of the citizen’s.
Brahim Ferati is one of the citizens of this neighborhood, who requests that this part to be helped more. According to him, currently the main problem, apart from security issue, remains unemployment in this part.
Also the representative of this neighborhood, Gani Hysenaj claims that many citizens left this neighborhood, because of poor economic conditions and the inability to move freely. Hysanaj requests better conditions for the citizens of this part.
Seventy three Albanian families are lining in the neighborhood “Kodra e Minatoreve”. So far the Kosovo Government has built 8 houses, while from the fund “You help too” built 7 houses. Meanwhile, soon are expected to return 6 families, whose houses are being constructed. Twenty Four Albanian students are following lessons in an improvised school, which does not meet the criteria for learning.
